New Members Welcome
The Club is actively seeking new members and encourages you to get in touch for more details orĀ arrange an informal visit to check out our facilities.
The Chiltern Model Flying Club is a small friendly Club with a membership of beginners, juniors and a number of more experienced flyers. Our main discipline is fixed wing powered flying with members flying IC Models, electric Models and Turbines.
Location
The Chiltern Model Flying Club is situated approximately 3 miles north of Luton, near the village of Streatley, with easy access from the M1 (Junction 11, 11A or 12) and A1081. The site offers suburb facilities, a private 10,000 square meter mown grass take-off strip set within 22 acres of open farmland, it also benefits from a heated club hut with power, as well as ample parking. Gated access through a farm entrance ensures the site is always secure.
The Club membership includes fixed wing BMFA Examiners and approved trainers who are keen to take beginners from the first stages of flying all the way to nationally recognised BMFA A and B test standards.
Enquiries from beginners and R/C model fliers of all disciplines are welcome.
